Inspiration is a funny thing. Depending on how you perceive something, the results can be quite interesting. Our featured work today belongs to Damon Hellandbrand, who rendered the ‘circle of animals’ or commonly known as the 12 zodiac signs, into very interesting visuals.

His inspiration has given birth to 12 creepy, ghostly, and terrifying creatures based on the horoscope signs. Damon’s influence has taken quite a turn from once trying to replicate Walt Disney’s artwork to the darker side of Ralph McQuarrie, Boris Vallejo and Frank Frazetta.
