Watercolor Paintings of Epic Proportions by Lorraine Loots

Today’s daily inspiration comes from artist Lorraine Loots from Cape Town, South Africa. As an accomplished miniaturist, she’s recently embarked on a new miniature project of epic proportions.

Like all her other works, Lorraine’s weapon of choice is in watercolor painting. She claims to create paintings for ants, producing incredible tiny artworks. Her latest series is called Microcosm Mondays, and is a space-related art piece in which she paints every Monday, scattered over 25 weeks in 2015.

In addition to Microcosm Mondays she’s committed to Tiny Tuesdays, Fursdays and Free Fridays. If you like to check out more of Lorraine’s puny brushings, head over to her website or check out her Instagram for all her watercolor paintings.
