Hard Disk Drive in 1956

That’s the image of a hard disk drive back in 1956. The Drive (more like the closet) had  5MB memory storage.

In September 1956 IBM launched the 305 RAMAC, the first computer with a
hard disk drive (HDD). The HDD weighed over a ton and stored 5MB of data.

It’s really nice knowing that now you can have a 4Gb PenDrive attached to your keys 🙂
