8 Free Portfolio Templates To Help You Get More Jobs

A designers career can be summed up by the work he/she creates over the years. Without a great portfolio to show your marvelous work is like a going to the movies without popcorn in hand. Sacrilege.

It doesn’t matter what position you’re after – freelance, contract, full-time – whatever it is, your portfolio carries your talents, let it speak for you. If you’re in graphic design, make sure your portfolio is graphically beautiful. Check those kernings! If you’re after a web designer position, make sure your portfolio looks tight with excellent markup.

Too often, I’ve seen great designers try to innovate. They think that a portfolio should show off their mighty Ajax or Flash skills, only to lose the focus on what’s important – their actual work.

Today I’ve prepared 8 free portfolio templates that any designer – visual, interaction, illustration, web, print – can use to show off their work.
