1001FreeDownloads – The Best Free Graphic Resource for Designers

Clipart, vectors, patterns, photos, fonts, icons, brushes, and gradients – you name it, as designers, our appetite for graphics is insatiable. Especially now that we have the power of the great interweb, searching for graphics has gotten infinitely easier. ‘

But with a ton of resources floating around, it’s easy to get overwhelmed, confused even with what’s free, and what’s not.

Today we’re featuring an awesome free resource that has everything a designer needs. 1001FreeDownloads is a new website that scours the web in search for the best and most attractive free graphics for designers. Although the site is fairly new, it’s already got a ton of stuff that you can start using via its easy search bar.

The site features a combination of artwork from different designers from around the world, along with the site’s own exclusive files, designed by their in-house team of graphic designers.

Are the files really free?

According to the site’s FAQ, most files are free to download for both personal and commercial use. However, like trends, licenses and rights change all the time so it’s best to check them before use. In any case, most authors only require a simple link back or credit, which is typically the case these days.

Each category is easily searchable and organized with tiered sub-categories. The site is growing day by day with more freebies to come in the near future.

The site currently has over 5.8k followers on their Facebook page, which I highly recommend you head over and ‘Like’ it if you’re a serious designer. You can also subscribe to their newsletter for fresh freebies direct to your inbox. Now that’s convenient!
