1. The Paths.<\/strong><\/span> Create the basic paths for the flower using the pen tool<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2. The Petals.<\/strong><\/span> Apply the Gradient<\/strong> color. Select one of the petals and apply a linear gradient<\/strong> (using 3 colors as shown bellow) and select Multiply<\/strong> in Transparency<\/strong> pallete.<\/p>\n

Select the other petals and using the Eyedropper<\/strong> tool click on the gradient petal to copy the fill. Adjust the gradient<\/strong> for each petal as needed.<\/p>\n

3. The Filament.<\/strong><\/span> Make the filament using the pen tool<\/strong>. Apply\u00a0a 3 color gradient with the colors you like and select Multiply<\/strong> in Transparency<\/strong> pallete.<\/p>\n

Duplicate the filament for each petal. It should end up looking like the image bellow.<\/p>\n
