For years, Google Maps has been the default map integration of choice, both for its simplicity and functionality it provides the user.<\/h2>\n<p>However, I speak for most designers when I say that it isn&#8217;t the prettiest on the planet. The ability to change the look and style of Gmaps was largely a project-to-project basis, working with developers in adding layers for custom colors and styles.<\/p>\n<p>By the stroke and grace of the design gods, this is where <strong>Snazzy Maps<\/strong> comes in.<\/p>\n<p>Snazzy Maps is a community built around creating <strong>great looking styles for Google Maps<\/strong>. As of version 3 of the Google Maps API, custom styles can now be applied to the typical (boring) map style that we&#8217;ve become accustomed to.
