Web 2.0 Company name generator

Well … it was a matter of time until something like this appeared. I guess now you can find just about everything on the Internet.

What’s it about ?
The name basically explains it. It’s a website that generates “web 2.0″ company names. All you have to do is push a button and a name will be automatically generated. I have to say that some names sound actually good. The website also offers the possibility to check for that domain name availability.

One question remains … what a “web 2.0″ company name mean ? I’ve came across many “web 2.0″ references, most pointing towards “web 2.0 logo design”. These kind of associations are a bit forced, because Web 2.0 as it was defined by its creator, O’Reilly Media is a concept that defines a second generation of web-based communities and hosted services - such as social-networking sites, wikis and folksonomies which facilitate collaboration and sharing between users. These concepts don’t refer to logo designs, domain names and such, they refer to user-interaction related website content.

Anyway you may see the “Web 2.0″ Company Name Generator here.
