Angie Bowen of Arbenting Design Blog has released a new great website for designers. Directory for Designers is a catalog of designers’ social media profiles. The websites included are : zaBox, Design Float, Design Bump, Digg, Twitter, StumbleUpon, Digg, delicious, Flickr, Votetime, dzone, Facebook, Technorati, plus there are 2 more sections where you can submit your portfolio and design blog.
This directory is meant for designers from all across the globe to be able to share their various social media network information so that the community can keep up with each other. We tweaked and tooled around with it for a good month and a half to get things where we initially wanted them to be, and now it’s up to you. The community at large is needed to make this project take off and serve it’s purpose for the designers surviving in cyberspace.

Hey, this is great. What a great idea. I am going to definitely make use of this. Social Networking Sites are great ways to promote your business. On one of my blogs, I wrote about utilizing social networking blogs to improve business and within it I listed social networking sites that are great for freelance designers.
