I have the Coffee Desk 1.01 template. My url is http://tustintim.com.

I am running into a problem ordering pages in sidebar 1; it seems to be somehow related to the 4 menu buttons at the top of the page. My questions are:

What modules/files do I access to edit my page order?

Can I reduce the size of the buttons at top of the page?

Can I add drop down menus from the top level menu buttons for sub pages associated with that father page?

By the way, I very much like the template - any help would be greatly appreciated.

The royalty free stock photo market is vast, with a growing number of stock photo agencies to choose from when trying to find the perfect image for your graphic design or advertising project. As a photography buyer, be aware that every agency on the market sets their own licensing terms. This determines how you the buyer can use the images you license and download. Before deciding to purchase a particular image, read their licensing terms and make sure that the particular use of your project is covered. It is easier to find images for standard applications such as the use of royalty free photos for advertising and promotional purposes but much more difficult to locate a good image supplier that will allow you to use their images to produce products intended for resale or distribution.

Usually we come across many websites were the home is optimized very beautifully and various techniques are used to do it successfully. The webmasters do this by optimizing title, alt tags, H1 tags, keyword density and various offpage factors for improving the quality of inward links. Apart from home page of the site, consider optimizing other inner web pages also for all round search engine optimization.Primary reason for optimizing all web pages along with main page is, the chances of all your web pages being ranked higher in search engines increases because of the right keywords. In turn it also increases the number of site visitors.

1. Does this plug in have an impact on the users registered before?

A: No! All the users registered before will not see any difference between before and after,
and will not have to make any confirmation. They will be considered valid users.

2. How is the actual confirmation done?

A: The new registered user receives an email in a short time on the email address supplied by him. After that his only task will be to click on the link in the email and his account will be active.

3. What is the user allowed to do without email confirmation?

A: The user is not even allowed to login with his username and password before activating his account.
So he can do as much as a guest on the website.

4. Will this eliminate all spam ?

A: No. But it will eliminate most of it. There will always be spammers who register with valid email addresses and submit spam stories. But that's a problem that even the best social media websites, such as Digg or Mixx face. That's why you need a strong moderation team.

5. Will this plugin affect my theme ?

A: No. The plugin doens't modify any template files, just Pligg's core files.

6. Can I use it on older versions of Pligg (<9.9.5) ?

A: The plugin has been tested for version 9.9.5. You can try to use it for older versions, but you'll be doing it at your own risk. Be sure to backup all the files you'll modify and your Pligg database before installing the module. We'll release the module for older versions soon.

7. How do I customize the "Registration Confirmation" page ?

A: In your template's folder (template/your_template) you will find the "confirm-registration.tpl" file. Open it with your favorite editor (such as Notepad) and edit the text.

This is the installation tutorial for the Pligg 9.9.5 Email Validation Module

Just follow these steps. If you have any questions drop us a line in this topic.

1 - backup ALL the files you will overwrite in a folder (on your local computer or directly on the server)

2 - backup your Pligg database. You can find a tutorial on how to do that here : http://php.about.com/od/learnmysql/ss/mysql_backup_3.htm .

3 - overwrite what you have on your server with the files in the "files" folder. Do not overwrite the folders directly. Overwrite each file in its corresponding folder independently. The files that aren't located in any folder (confirm-registration.php, login.php and register.php) will be copied in the root folder of your Pligg installation.

4 - open phpMyAdmin and run the script "pligg.sql" on your database. This scipt will alter your "pligg_users" table.

5 - enjoy your spam less news website.

How does it look for a user who registers ?

A user hits Register and is directed to the registration page where he fills the details (user name, email, password)

After he hits Create User it gets redirected to a page where he is asked to confirm his registration by clicking the confirmation link he received in the email inbox he provided on registration.

If he tries to login and submit stories without validating his account he gets an error message.

Once the user clicks the email validation link in his email he gets redirected to the login page and a message is displayed informing the user that his account was activated and he can start submit stories.

Some time has passed since we didn’t put together a free Wordpress themes compilation. Our previous free Wordpress themes compilation was a huge success, but most of the themes we presented then have now become obsolete. We’ve seen a lot of beautiful theme designs over the last year, a lot of worthy candidates, but we’ve narrowed it down to about 50 New and Beautiful Free Wordpress Themes.
