Designer Resource: Tutorials Round-up/ Icons, GIFs, Website, Lightroom, and more!
We have always been a big believer of free education (no one should pay for knowledge), and trust that learning is a big part of becoming a ninja designer, not just God given talent. So this week, we poked around the web and rounded up a few tutorials that’s sure to spark some motivation.
As a popular art form, I believe most designers would have attempted creating icons before, so in this post I found tremendous help from Benedikte Vanderweeen’s post of creating a pixel perfect icon in Illustrator. With this tutorial, why not take it a step further and create an animated custom GIF? If you’re up for it, then hey we’ve got a post for that, too! Head over to Skillshare and enrol in a free class by Jake Bartlett.
For young budding designers looking to get into the wicked world of web design, we’ve got your back! Our friends over at Pixelhint gave us the low down on creating a website in Photoshop from scratch! Even if nobody does it from scratch anymore these days, it’s always good to learn the basics first to later expand on it.
