We are excited to present you today a new addition to the CrazyLeaf brand and that is the CrazyLeaf Design Browser Theme.
The CrazyLeaf Browser Theme is available for the latest versions of Firefox and Internet Explorer and can be downloaded from here. The theme includes links to our Blog, Facebook Page, Twitter as well as an integrated Bing search box and a scrolling box with the latest content from our blog.
As all Firefox add-ons the theme is really easy to install : just download it, restart the browser and the changes will be automatically made.
Hey guys. You might have noticed that we were down for about a week, until yesterday. That happened because the old server that hosted CrazyLeaf was getting to small for our growing traffic. How did this happen ? Well it kinda caught us off guard, because of the huge traffic spike we had for a couple of days, which caused the server to crash. We tried to fix it / optimize and restart it a couple of times but it was pointless. The last time we started it we received over 2000 requests in 30 seconds.
Anyway we have a new, more powerful server now, we did a lot of tweaks to the website, a lot of optimizations so the browsing experience should be significantly improved.
Overall a few other things have changed, except for the speed optimizations :
We are still testing and tweaking on the new server but WE’RE BACK, WE’RE HERE TO STAY and we will be resuming our normal rhythm starting now.
And last but not least thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience this down time may have caused.
This December we are commemorating 4 years since we first started CrazyLeaf Design Blog. To be more precise we wrote the first post on December 6th 2006. We never did an anniversary post, so we decided it’s about time we did one to thank all of you for your loyalty in following us and to present some facts about these wonderful years we’ve been together.
