Donald Rumsfeld is briefing George Bush…

Donald Rumsfeld is briefing George Bush in the Oval Office:

“Oh, and finally, sir, three Brazilian soldiers were killed in Iraq today.”

Bush goes pale, his jaw hanging open in stunned disbelief. He buries his face in his hands, muttering “My God…My God….”

“Mr. President,” says Cheney, “we lose soldiers all the time, and it’s terrible. But I’ve never seen you so upset. What’s the matter?”

Bush looks up and says, “How many is a ‘Brazilian’?”

Boss : “I have to let one of you go”

Boss, to four of his employees:
- I’m really sorry, but I’m going to have to let one of you go.
Black Employee: “I’m a protected minority.”
Female Employee: “And I’m a woman.”
Oldest Employee: “Fire me, buster, and I’ll hit you with an age discrimination suit so fast it’ll make your head spin.”
To which they all turn to look at the helpless young, white, male employee, who thinks a moment, then responds: “I think I might be gay…”

Lawyer good news

“I have good news and bad news,” the defense lawyer says to his client.”What’s the bad news?”

Two old guys are sitting on a park bench …

Two old guys, Abe and Sol, are sitting on a park bench feeding pigeons and talking about baseball, like they do every day. Abe turns to Sol and says, “Do you think there’s baseball in heaven?” Sol thinks about it for a minute and replies, “I dunno. But let’s make a deal: if I die first, I’ll come back and tell you if there’s baseball in heaven, and if you die first, you do the same.”

They shake on it and sadly, a few months later, poor Abe passes on. One day soon afterward, Sol is sitting there feeding the pigeons by himself when he hears a voice whisper, “Sol… Sol…”

Sol responds, “Abe! Is that you?”

“Yes it is, Sol,” whispers Abe’s ghost.

Sol, still amazed, asks, “So, is there baseball in heaven?”

“Well,” says Abe, “I’ve got good news and bad news.”

“Gimme the good news first,” says Sol.

Abe says, “Well… there is baseball in heaven.”

Sol says, “That’s great! What news could be bad enough to ruin that!?”

Abe sighs and whispers, “You’re pitching on Friday.”

KFC and The Pope

A salesman from KFC walked up to the Pope and offers him a million dollars if he would change “The Lord’s Prayer” from “give us this day our daily bread” to “give us this day our daily chicken.” The Pope refused his offer. Two weeks later, the man offered the pope 10 million dollars to change it from “give us this day our daily bread” to “give us this day our daily chicken” and again the Pope refused the man’s generous offer. Another week later, the man offered the Pope 20 million dollars and finally the Pope accepted. The following day, the Pope said to all his officials, “I have some good news and some bad news. ‘The good news is, that we have just received a check for 20 million dollars. The bad news is, we lost the Wonder Bread account!”’
